A match is ignited and pressed to a small black dot - a portal - is drawn on the palm of your hand. With your other hand, you slowly trace the path of ignition up your arm, across your chest, and finally to your mouth. You open your mouth - and a cloud of smoke emerges. Created by Alan Rorrison, SMOKE represents simple, powerful magic. It needs no introduction. While intended for those 18 years of age or older, theory11 made every effort in production of SMOKE to ensure precise safety in operation. The smoke is harmless - made of organic compounds. The DVD teaches a full routine utilizing the SMOKE gimmick entitled PORTAL by Dan White. You'll also see 6 other applications and concepts that you can build off of. The possibilities are endless. Nothing was a higher priority for us than safety. We went above and beyond to ensure that the gimmicks provided were as safe, effective, and reliable as humanly possible. In fact, the gimmicks provided were THREE TIMES the cost of our original prototypes. We demanded quality - and we took our time to find it. The smoke created using SMOKE is not actually smoke. Try to say that three times fast! But it is true - it is NOT smoke. It is actually vapor, made from organic compounds and completely harmless. It causes no irritation or discomfort whatsoever with responsible use. |

The problem i see with this is your going to get a bunch of tween magicians getting this just to show their friends they can blow smoke out of their mouth.
you have to understand what type of effect this is, this isn't a 3fly or an ACR this is producing smoke from your mouth, if you don't respect what this is and put the proper work into it then your just destroying it. the same thing happened with Stigmata and Crush, i can't even count all the rubbish performances i've seen of 12 year olds kids doing stigmata... understand what your doing.. it shouldn't be presented as a "trick" same with smoke.. it should NOT be be used to make your "ACR look cooler" or card to mouth look "cooler"

As Liderc this is not an effect to be done just to do it.
You have to really think through your routine before incorporating. Yes, it is a cool effect, but it can be easily overused and mis-used. 'Why is the smoke coming out of your mouth?' is the question you need to ask yourself. Does it add to or distract from your routine? I would put this effect into the class of 'tools', such as a Svengali deck or a stripper deck. Again, this is just my opinion. What are your thoughts?

This a cool trick but very expensive . However you can made a homemade gimmick but the smoke that will be produced is unlike the smoke produced by the original gimmick
