Smile champagne goldfish miracle

This is one of my all time favourites! It uses a large thumbtip wit a cork.the fish is concealed in the thumptip and hangs in your jacket (on the cork). If you need it you can get it really fast and safe out of the jacket.the production of the fish self is childs play an basically anyone can do it.
the only problem with this effect is finding the right fish (that is small enough to get in the thumbtip) and also if you are working in close-up situations you have to load the fish again somewhere backstage...

This effect has amased and let people scream! Its cheap and a reputation maker garanteed!!!

If you want to buy it you can get it at www.hocus-pocus.com

Score: 9/10

Perfect for children show and stand up magic

Ps: Sorry if my english is not so perfect

Greetings from belgium

Great review, I actually enjoyed it. Looks like a really neat trick! The only question I have is, "Is that a real fish?"

Just curious,

Yah. Its best to lead the fish at the very very last minute, because the fish thumbtip is so tight, the fish has no space to move and is kind of like vertical inside... very uncomfortable!

Its a neat trick, David Stone shows it on his Real Secrets of Magic DVD as well, where he uses flash paper as misdirection and produces the real fish, the seems to take the fish out of the wine class and chew it and swollow it.. and then reproduce the fish again.. off course, he did not really eat the fish and produces another one.. not like in illusionist movie where the doves is smashed and they produce another one... David didn't harm the fish, he only use a slice of a type of orange color vegi that seems to look and wiggle like a fish. But we will never know how many fish died during practise due to stress in the thumbtip!

That trick will really give people a big reaction. I like the trick but won't perform it cos don't like dealing with living beings in magic, as you need more time and effort in caring them, also there's more expense.

And i think the goldfish thumbtip is a bit expensive, typically priced around $20!

hey david stone teaches this trick in real secrets of magic. After the gold fish is produced he palms of a piece of carrot which looks like the tail of the fish and which is in his pocket then he acts like he is taking the fish and at the seme time covers the glass with his other hand and places the piece of carrot in his mouth this looks like he is eating the fish alive. He then blows on the glass and moves his hand away, this makes it look like the fish reappears.

I have performed this for a while.

It's always a show stopper effect. People freak at the production of a small animal so close.

A carrot production is OK, but a real living gold fish, I think that it's very cruel...

The fish is never harmed in this effect.
The Carrot effect is just a gag.

The only issues I have ever run into with this effect is transportation of the fish to your venue. Usually have to drive with it between my legs or with a friend.
