Okay, here's the dealio. I don't actually have this 1-on-1. So I can't comment on whether or not Dan is a great teacher, or stuff. Why didn't I buy it? Simple. I figured it out after watching it once. I watched a couple more times to make sure, but yeah, the trick is easy to figure out.

This has potential to be a good trick, slightly impromptu, only a tiny bit of preparation. It's fast and visual, both pluses. Now onto the bad part. No handing out the chapstick for examination, unless you do a switch of course. No borrowed chapsticks. Can't hold the chapstick with the cap "off" for too long, the specs will see the secret. Any specs a foot or closer might catch it.

I'm gonna try to perform this tomorrow or the next day, and see what laymen think of it. I'll keep y'all posted.

Good, visual trick. Simple method, easy to see secret, but you can hide this with some good ol' misdirection.

So you figured it out by watching. Hmmm, So did I but there are really only two ways to accomplish this at least that I thought of. I was focusing on one way and still bought it out of curiosity and it turned out being the other way. I'm sure you went with the correct way first and then I guess there's no need to buy it. On the other hand creativity seemed to kick in and hit me with a simple way to hand out the chapstick.

This thread isn't about "learning" the trick from watching it mate . It's just their viewpoints and outlook on it. If you cannot grasp the trick, please purchase it. They also provide more then just a method, they provide a detailed walkthrough step-by-step. Also shows how to present and handle crowds.

It's a good trick to do quickly. If you pause for more than a few seconds, people will figure it out. But if it's smooth and quick, it will startle people. I just add it as an extra effect if someone runs up and demands that i show them something.
