Default Outlaw Magnum Peek Wallet

How many wallets does a mentalist/magician need? That's a tough questions, but I never leave home without my Stealth Assassin and Outlaw Magnum. Let me know if you want me to review the Stealth Assassin - today I'd like to talk about the Outlaw Magnum peek wallet.

First the peek-getting the peek from the Magnum is fast, easy and definitely hidden. There are no batteries to wear out ala Kennedy's Thought Transmitter. The wallet is very well made of good quality leather and easily holds my business cards. The price of the Magnum is just a tad higher than the Telethought Wallet and I believe (and this is very objective) worth it. Both seem to use the same peek technology - but where the Telethought looks like an inexpensive business card wallet the Magnum not only looks classier but also can hold a lot more and still function effectively.

Marc Strivings Sight Unseen Case (SUC) is almost impossible to get anymore and Marc doesn't answer his emails. Though it is an ingenious concept in obtaining hidden information, the peek with the Magnum (and Telethought) are both less anglier than the SUC.

Getting used to the peek angle may take some time but once you find the correct angle you will have no problems. There is also a forum available at Outlaw's site where you can exchange ideas with other owners of Outlaw products.

The only challenge I have with ANY peek wallet is identifying the motivation for putting the billet in the wallet instead of letting the audience member hold it. I have the same feeling about the center tear. Why rip up the billet?

I use both my Stealth Assassin and Outlaw Magnum interchangeably. I try to have them with me whenever I leave the house.

I have the wallet and actually it works as my normal wallet. However it doesn't work so well because apparently the guy's assistant must have shipped out defective parts, and upon saying "hey I was one of the lucky few that got a joner" he was surely going to ship me a new one. And that was 6 months ago. I'm sick of the stupid excuse that "I Forgot". So, be careful when you deal with companies that don't take care of their customers.

Though I'm sorry to hear that, I'm not surprised. I had a problem with the 2nd wallet I bought from them and they took it back and sent me a new one immediately.

Isn't the Thought Transmitter made by John Cornelius?
