Review

This is a VERY good routine. The whole show sits on the keychain that you are supplied with.



Phase 1 -

3 Keys, 1 Door - 9/10

You remove your keychain and take out the keys. You put those 3 keys on the table. The audience FREELY selects any key, but then you tell them that you made a prediction before the trick - the prediction matches exactly the key she chose.


Self working opening phase. This is pure mentalism. Very easy, gets you comfortable with the spectator. After this you pretend to finish the trick, but the audience wants more, so you have 2 more phases to go with.
(The creator of the trick, Nicholas Bengtson, performs this as a stand-alone effect because it's so strong, and the other half of the time he does the full Archangel Routine.)



Phase 2 -
Arching Key - 11/10

This phase is even stronger. By the way, each phase can easily sell alone for minimum of $30, especially this one, I don't know why The Enchantment is giving it away for $20.

Well, they SIGN one of the keys. You take it and ask them if they ever tried bending a key. The key is in their view the ENTIRE time. You let them pinch the key, and as you pull it up and down, it starts to melt. Their SIGNED key is now BENT.

WOW. The best Metal Bending effect ever. I know The Closer, Liquid Metal, PK Silverware, Superman Coin Bend - but this beats all of them. This isn't hard to do, but you will need some practise. They really do see their key the whole time, SIGNED. Genius thinking here.




Phase 3 -

Angel Flight - 10/10

More detailed review:

The audience is amazed by the prediction and the key bend. So cool!

You take their signed key, and you put all of the keys on the chain and put them in your pocket or their hand. You take their bent key, and in a blink, it VANISHES. As good as in the demo! Half a second later, it appears ON the keychain, 100% on it! The audience is allowed to keep the key as a souvenir. Not a ring flight, but a KEY flight!

This is going to take a bit of practise. There are 2 versions, and I suggest everyone uses the second version (you will see what I mean if you get the trick). The first version is for beginners. This beats Ring Flight, because this uses no gimmciks. You wont have a key flying in a random direction! Way better angles than the Ring Flight!


This routine is very well structured.

What you get:

A VERY detailed booklet, strings with little paper notes, so at the end, you can attach the string to their souvenir key and write a special note for them of some kind. This is very special for the spectator, because they will know that this routine and the spectator himself mean something to the performer. You can see those strings with tabs in the demo.

You also get a special, high quality keychain. It also comes with another key ring, which is smaller and thinner, so you can use it to get the keys on and off at first, because the original key ring is strong and looks cool, but you need to really break it in before you can put the keys on and off with ease.

BUT, you need to supply your own keys. The instructions tell you where to get them from - ask any locksmith for reject/scrap keys, and they will give them to you for free or for very little cost. You will need to spend a few hours searching various locksmiths for the right kinds of keys, and you should get about 20+, since after the effect the key is BENT, SIGNED and in impossible condition handed to the spectator as a souvenir. This isn't that bad though, just go to your local mall, find a locksmith, shoe repairing or key cutters and ask them for some scrap keys, get some, go to another mall if you didnt get have enough and so on. They should give them to you for free or for very little cost. Even says so in the booklet.

Overall

I STRONGLY recommend this item.


I give this a 10/10. I do. You have to own this one.
