Default Freakey - Gregory Wilson

Name:Freakey

Maker: Gregory Wilson

Examinable: To an extent yes

Difficulty: 1

Out of 10: 9 for now

Effect

How many people carry an American half dollar or English penny—especially at the same time? Exactly! Get FREAKEY and you'll be ready with a miracle in your pocket anytime, anywhere.

Two distinctly different house keys switch places repeatedly in a flashy five-phase, fast-paced, in-their-face, Monte-type routine—finishing clean in the spectator's tightly-clenched fist.

Comments

After waiting quite a while to get my hands on this when it arrived i had the added bonus of paying an extra ?17 import tax! I ordered direct from Gregory Wilson and meant it was shipped from the US. I have emailed Greg regarding this telling him any more orders he sends to the UK to mark the customs slip as a "gift" to get around paying the charges, he was very apologetic and offered to send me a DVD. Obviously not Gregs fault but people will begrudge paying ?17 extra.

Anyway on with the review

You get 3 keys one Silver one Brass and one...... well you know the rest. you also get a VERY good DVD, he has covered just about everything in it and has bonus footage with 5 "Street performances" which show you the kind of reactions you can get using Freakey. You also get a very well made key fob to keep the keys on and you can remove the keys easier than you can on a normal key ring. I didn't know this but if you order from Greg you can request that he sends you the keys uncut so that you can get them cut for your own house key!

The gimmicked key is very well made and at one point in the main routine (there are several) the spec handles the gimmicked key without even knowing it.

Having only just recieved Freakey yesterday morning i haven't had time to try it out on a spec or for that matter watch the DVD right through so this is a sort of mini review which somebody requested, i will update later on in the week when i have watched it all and performed it to a friend

Sounds awsome! I always wanted to do "Copper Silver" but we don't have those type of coins around here... and taking them out looks kinda wierd.
Using keys is great, I might buy it... hope you'll write another review soon.

Thanks man,

Tomer

I've gotten a lot of Greg Wilson's work before, and if this is as good as the rest of his stuff, I definately won't be disappointed!
