Well, it does effect the electronic devices,
But just only a bit, no damage to devices. just when you wave it near your mobile it will react like you push any button just light up, like that but you shouldnt put it near dvds or cds, im not sure if it will have affect of not. \but it is said like that By the way, I wanna know if the m5 tactics and system DVD is worth buying or not. I have M5 with the bat DVD Is it necessary to buy the new m5dvd? |

Not worth the price, just get a magnet and wrist it around you arm.
Of course there a shimmed materials included but you can do this on your own. Just buy strong magnets... |

My main concern is walkaround in restaurants and Pacemakers.
//merged// Guys , what about the M5's effect on someones pacemaker? I don't have a pacemaker but, I do a lot of restaurant magic and this is a concern of mine. Last edited by Chris; 09-12-2011 at 05:46 PM. Reason: Merged due to double post |

The gimmik is really strong , it will easily bust your cell phone or electrical things.
//merged// Like somone said it is better to buy a magnet separate. Last edited by MRmagic591; 09-30-2011 at 05:21 PM. Reason: Merged due to double post |

Yes, do get a good PK ring. You will find many uses for it. Go to your local coin shop and pick up a few steel coins. Many of the Canadian coins and the new British penny are made of steel. The British penny is copper plated so it doesn't look like it would be attracted to a magnet.

Ok-
I work at a recycling plant and we have the oddest things in the world come through here. I kid you not, we have magnets we retrieved from old hard drives so big that I can climb walls with them... They will easily support my 180 pounds, the real trick is separating the silly things from the metallic surface they have attached to! LOL I took the smaller magnets from a regular hard drive and made my own m5 kit... If you take the thin 'mylar' security tabs from a cd or software package apart and use the them for a shim you can 'gimmick' just about anything. The shims are super thin but you are better off using a washer if the piece you are working allows for it as the hold is that much better. I mixed some iron ferrite with magi wax to make a pretty wicked version of magnetic wax... so then I can borrow a dollar bill and after covertly attaching some wax to it I can grab it with my magnet. That is so outside their train of thought that it pretty much melts the speculators little minds. LOL -misj- |
