A nice working gimmick. It looks great. But in my book it lacks something... a good routine for it. All the routines I have seen using it ALL call attention to the gimmick doing the work. I wish there was a routine that would justify using the 'strange' gimmick.

Hey Harold. I have a great routine for it that totally takes away from the focus on the gimmick. Instead of using it in an ACR I use it for a transposition. The effect itself is much more like "French Kiss" or "Duce Bag" If you are aware of either of those.
You have to modify your gimmick and add your signature on it. It is a painstaking process and I can give you all some pointers if you need some but once you get that done you are set to go. Personally I start with card to wallet. Then I tell them to put their card in their wallet. I make the switch with my pre-signed card that matches my wow gimmick. I then pretend to sign a card and put it in the wow(it is actually their signed card. I do the wow change, which gets great reactions, and before they get to the point where they want to look at the "gimmick" i direct them back to their wallet. While they are fishing my signed card out of their wallet I have plenty of time to swap the wow for a non-gimmicked wow sleeve just in case they want to check it out when all is said and done. The biggest moment of the whole routine is revealing your signed card in their wallet so it draws soo much heat off the gimmick itself. hope that helps. |
