Default Wynn Deck Review (all 3 colors) - Another view

Hey everyone, I realize there is already a review on these cards, but I thought I would give my views as well.

I have much card handling experience, and have tried a ton of decks. I have distinguishing fingers by now.

First I received the brugandy and violet decks that I ordered from the exo magic shop. I was really excited to get my hands on them for a number of reasons.

1. All the hype, saying its gotta be the next jerrys!
2. trying out the new design, and the new supposed stock.
3. collecting a new type of deck.

Well, i got the decks, and I immediately took them out, and thought the design was very simple, and can be seen as elegant. Its a two way design, and can be seen either way. It is also bordered unlike most bee decks. this is important for card reversal moments in your magic.

The card stock, is... plasticy. It reminds me of some "ad" card decks I had gotten for free. They were a little tough, and a little synthetic. They just didnt have that paper thin feel... but were a little thicker. I looked closey at the card, under the light, and you can see some bumps for some sort of air finish, but, its not as pronounced as bicycles or tallys in my opinion.

I fanned them out, and it fanned.. ok. after a few more. holy moly, did they start to stink.... for fanning!! is this a bad thing? no not necessarily! the air just didnt seem to seep from card to card, allowing the deck to bevel in a fan formation. Im doing a regular thumb fan, and honestly, youve never seen a worse fan. if you do a one handed fan, well, it comes out clumpy.

What are the plus sides to the red and violet cards? well, because they are thicker, they seem more durable. They could probably take a beating. And they arent that rare yet, that you can afford to do so. They are great for doing cuts with, and doing tricks like acr. When doing flourishes and other assorted complicated cuts, these are ideal because they are thick, and have barely any sort of air flow finish. They stick together very very well. I tossed a packet into the air and it stuck to the ground. having trouble with the tg deck flip? use this deck! it may help you.

very solid deck, but does not make pretty fans.

THE BROWN WYNN DECK

all i can say is, after trying out the other two decks, ehhh. i was Not too excited about fanning with the brown deck. I wasnt even sure If i felt like fighting for a brick of these. I sure am glad I did though!

I got a brick of these and I opened them up thinking.. well, they are going to be exactly like the others? i mean, why would they make one color different from the others? apparently the brown ones are rare.. whatever that means.

I opened a pack, and fanned. HOLY GEEZ do they fan well. And im a huge stickler for fans. EVERY TIME this deck fans. EVERY TIME. even bicycles and tallys give up after continuous use. but these brown wynns are so sexy when they fan. Even *********** cards do not have these consistent results.

I love these cards. I will be buying more if i can, although it aint necessary. i mean, they are just cards.

They are shiny, and.. slick feeling to them. They dont appear to thick, like "boarded" bee deck. but, they certainly are not thin. The pips are jumbo, and do not make for a pleasant face up fan. the backs is where the fans truly shine. Carnahan fan? go for it! 2 one handed fans? looks amazing. EVERYTIME!!

this deck has a really classy look to it, and it sure is different using cards after being accostomed to bicycles for this long.

Great all around deck. If you are going for an amazing deck- even just one to add to your collection, get brown wynns. If you are looking for thick stock cards that dont fan at all, but work great for cuts, and fancy flourishy cuts, get blue or red wynns. They stick together great.

Depending on what you look for , and what you do, or have a deck just in case - there is a wynn deck for you.

I've been hearing a lot about these, but I think I'm gonna get the brown ones if I get any at all. They sound a lot better. but then again I also heard the red Wynns were also really good.

So i guess I'll just read up more on them...
