Blank Night - John Archer

This is one of the many versions of 'Bank Night'. 'Bank Night' is sort of a Russian Roulette type effect without inflicting any physical pain.

I saw John perform this effect on the ITV Special, 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us.' He happened to actually fool them.

John sells a PDF of this effect for about $25 USD. It is not cheap but it is well worth the money.

What stands out the most to me about this effect is the totally free choice of envelopes and the bills (multiple bills!) can be brand new crisp bills- not folded at all. Many 'Bank Night' routines depend upon devices such as a Thumb Tip, Sanada or Cloaking Device. Hence the bill is all creased up and it is difficult to use multiple bills. It can be done but it makes for quite a load for a Thumb Tip or other device.

The envelopes all require minor modifications and the gimmick is very simple to make.

Technically this is a very easy routine to perform from a mechanical standpoint. You will not need to learn any fancy sleights. Within a few hours you should be ready to perform it.
