I like the trick, but use masters decks for performing. If I pulled these out I wouldn't be taken seriously.
I don't want to be seen as the guy with the trick deck.

I agree with some if the posts above. If I were to have a gimmicked deck, I would choose the backs to be one of a normal Bicycle.
A great use of the Invisible deck is as an out for any picka card trick. |

Spork: It does the invisible deck trick. Seriously. The most basic routine is: The spectator tells you a card, you pull out a deck, spread them face up, and their card is the only one face down.

I allways perform with my insible deck (red back) everytime I finish performing I put the deck in my pocket, and take out a normal one. there are several tricks you can perform with an I.D., theres a beatifull one in the jay sankey secret files(vol1) DVD, and another cool one in "Hockus Pocus" dvd from jay sankey too.

I agree with someone here who said that the black cards can be a giveaway. Quite a few are bound to think that its a gimmick, especially those people to whom you have already performed using a regular deck before. This is why I would stick to using the spray. There's an e-book link somewhere which gives a good description on how this can be performed.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts though Exo. I found them interesting. |

yeah good point, using the regular bicycle puts them off, of thinking its a gaffed deck and adds to the headache they get at the end of the trick.

I wouldn't be too concerned about that. For me it is all in the presentation. When I do the ID I don't copy the routine that I have seen others do. Create your own variation and keep your spectators involved.
I use a number of different setups to mix things up a bit.

I have a Ghost Invisible Deck...I get called up on it so much. Probably down to me rather than the deck, but I'd rather be safe than sorry and go with ordinary Bikes

I agree with using ordinary Bikes. People are very curious about the Ghost deck and some of the other custom decks. Sometimes even a Tally-Ho raises suspicion. I prefer to stick to the ordinary with my magic. I love close-up and street magic because you are making the familiar/ordinary do the impossible.
