Hi has anybody purchased this magic kit? It looks really promising but im still having some doubts about getting it. Any constructive comments or reviews are welcomed.

Just a tip, if you want to get serious about your magic, don't get magic kits. Trust me, they might seem fun, but for the most part they'll end up in the back of your closet. You can spend $60 in much better ways. For example, you could get Royal Road to Card Magic, Modern Coin Magic, 13 Steps to Mentalism, AND Mark Wilson's Course in magic for about the same price. You'll get WAY more out of those.

Funny.

You have an erdnase signature picture and then want to buy that box set.

I say steer clear of his product line. Waste of money and time for a weak thrill. There are soooo many books to choose from that have plenty of effects that would be more respectable to perform to laymen and the magic community.

Can you go over what looks promising about the set? So I can have an idea as to why it intrigues you?

You can buy most of the tricks in the kit for less then a tenner at Dollar Tree.
That kit has to be the most overpriced kit on the planet!!

If you really want to get a kit wait till it hits the garage sell somewhere because believe you me, it will.

I pick them up all the time for a couple of bucks, just for grins and giggles.

I agree. Buy magic instruction books and you will learn techniques and can develop your own style from there.
