An easy alternative to buying 5 for $10 is to buy the loops dispencer which will dish out over 100 ft of thread. I make about 10 inch loops, so i'm getting about 100 loops for $26
To tie the knot: if you are familiar with the million dollar knot that will work PERFECTLY! its what I use! and the knot is very invisible!

I remember buying my first original mesika ones for 10€ and killing all the five of them on a single weekend. On the next monday I went to my local magic-dealer again and bought a dispenser of noname elastic thread (1km) which pointed out to handle way better for me. It's thicker, it's transparent and it's more visible but it lives longer and works a thousand percent better for effects like boxmonster. Try to do boxmonster with a default mesika loop!
Buying loops is for beginners, build your own ones - it's not that hard at all and it offers a lot more flexibility and ranges your standard one wouldn't probably work with! |

If you are a magician, and have never used loops, then you seriously need to rethink your magic. There are a few staples that every magician should carry. A thumb-tip, deck of cards, a few rubber bands on the wrist, and, of course, loops. Yigal Misaka was a genius when he came up with these and most of his other work is also great. I highly recommend these for both beginner and proffessional alike. Just make sure to read the instructions that come with them, and definitely pick up the Loops Trilogy by ***********. So much information in one set it's not even funny. Enjoy.

I like using them but grew tired of my inability to control the thread... For me, it just didn't fit (i.e. my movements aren't natural with them). I like to do stuff in well-lit places and usually have the light-distance factor working against me. Perhaps in future, I'll practice with them more... But for now, I'm happy with my cards... ![]() Nonetheless, they are quite a useful thing to carry around if you're into 'invisible' effects! J |

loops are the best thing to happen to IT since it first came around in the 80's all you need is a loop on your wrist and you walk out of the house with an arsenal of tricks to perform at will!!!
