This is a very informative book that is perfect for beginners in card magic or experts looking to brush up on basics. The book starts out describing very basic information about different sleights and shuffles then moves on to describe some classic effects.
Over all I would give this book 5 out of 5 as judging it from a beginner’s perspective. Cheers, Kamdarian |

Robbert Giobbi's "Card College" is another great set to have. It goes over a lot of stuff that isn't in royal road, it even has diagrams of reference for hands, deck, etc.

Just bought this, along with card college.
Every magician I've talked to has said these are both stellar. |

Remember not to get discouraged as you go through them. Beginner and expert effects are mixed together. Try to understand the basic principles presented before trying to understand the more complicated. The members here can be a great help if you run into a rough spot. Practice! Practice! and Practice!

Wow, I've seen this book every so often, but I've never really had a chance to look through it. I'm definitely going to get this book once I get my next paycheck.
