Patter, script and word choice

Well I'd hate to see a thread like this die, does anyone have any patter they use for any other effects?

On that note, how does anyone justify a sammich routine??

I usually use a sandwich routine as a follow-up after a card production. Preferably, I perform a trick whereby all four cards seemingly change to jokers. I would then explain that jokers are weird. 'They have the ability to not only possess the cards (as shown in the routine earlier) but also others'.
And I would attempt to show them. I would then follow it up with a sandwich routine. And finish up by doing a card warp using the pair of jokers.

I use this routine as I find that my friends and family are more willing to accept that something is special, rather than you. For example if I would to perform the above routines in the context of 'Look, I will try to make this happen'. They would refuse to believe that something is magical(I think it stems from the knowledge that they know you all this while and you dont have superman-like powers). As such, the routine becomes too much like a puzzle for them to decipher.

However, when I attribute the abilities to an object. they might still treat it as a puzzle but in this instance there would be the inkling that the object might just be magical or maybe special. =)
