Default 2 videos of mine

Hey guys,

this is my performance of The Queens [Raw File]

The Queens is variation of Bill Goodwin's trick by Dan and Dave Buck.

Bill's trick can be found on his Penumbra magazine, issue 8.

Dan and Dave Buck's version of trick is published in their dvd Trilogy disc one: Tricks.

Credits goes for
Roy Walton
Cardini and/or George Pughe
Chad Nelson.

And yes, my Clipshift sucks in this video.

I mostly want to show my performance of Spacewalk DL, Silver Surfer, Top Shot, Cherry and Cascade controls.

Don't bother about pass. I know it's done poorly here, because of camera angle and my condition of my hands.

Credits (if you're interested in them like Will)

This is me doing some quick moves. It's raw footage. Only thing I did was fade in and fade out. No color correction, nothing.

Spacewalk DL was created by Stephen Ger.
Silver Surfer was created by Lee Asher. I learnt it from his brilliant dvd The Five Card Stud. I do it only as a flourish in this video.
Top Shot was created by Lennart Green and can be found on his dvd Green Magic.
Cherry control was created by Ricky Smith and published in Penumbra issue 5.
Cascade control was created by Charlie Miller and published in Card Finesse.
Riffle Pass was first mentioned by Dai Vernon, however, he didn't credit anyone. I learnt it from Akira Fujii.

No? It's original The Queens routine from Dan and Dave's Trilogy.

As far as the routines go you have them down.
Although the cherry control was a bit iffy but that was probably due to the angle of the video.

The Queens patter was standart, try to think of something new.
Also you could see the brake on the second vanish. Try to work on that, you loaded the cards too far from the deck it think.

Other than that, start putting those sleights into effects and working with them!

Well, it was just a tiny flash in Cherry, not big thing (: Maybe it's because of angle as you said.

I like only original patter for The Queens. If I want to vanish four queens with story, I do Aaron Fisher's Golden Nugget.
And yes, break can be easily seen, I'll work on that.

Haha, I already started to do that !

Thanks for your comment ! (:

Hi!

well, it was a good performance. and yes your break was kinda obvious. =P
i think it would be better for you to display the 3 queens more prominently before moving on. cos the spectator wont be able to see them distintively especially when there are close together. i think that would help you
