.... What is the trick?

If you haven't figured it out yet I love hunting for bargains in odd places.
I bought a hoola hoop for a quarter. I have no idea what to do with it.

so I thought I'd throw it out there and see what came back as a idea for a trick with a hoola hoop... (almost any ring trick would work I'd think) LOL

Do a card trick while hula hooping, then have the spectator's card appear glued to the hula hoop. If you can get it signed, all the better.

better yet!! the card hooked on the hula hoop as if the hula hoop penetrated the card. although it kinda seems like its hard to achieve. hehe

I have TWO things to say

I forgot I sent this out, as I was pretty tired last night. LOL

Also I have a fused hip - They tried to get me to hoola hoop for therapy didn't work out so great. I was actually trying too because a really HOT girl told me the trick to getting girls in the dance clubs was the hip thrust.

That said ...

I love the idea - and will give it yet another whirl so to speak. LOL

well I always carry some of these chinese lucky charms or something. it looks like a small dragon statue. around 2 inches in size.
(btw I don't believe in it bringing luck, its just because my mom always want me to take these along with me because she believes its for protection)

Is it on a string? Or could you string it up with a necklace?

If so it sounds like it would make a great pendulum ... (personal items tend to work best!)

This trick relies on hypnotic suggestion and ideomotor activity. Basically what you would do is have the person hold the pendulum and then ask it questions... (which their subconscious answers - by subtly moving the object. Your suggestions push the effect even further)

There are several marketed tricks by Kenton Knepper, Docc Hilford, blah blah that use this principle!

WARNING: A lot of people associate this with witchcraft - NOT SO but be careful! Also don't allow people to go too far overboard with this - It is a neat and powerful effect - but a trick still!

I'd love to do linking rings with hoola hoops - dollar store has them for a buck each. But how would I hide the key? I imagine it would constantly separate. I will have to give it some thought.
