Default Which do you prefer?

OK, I have a question. As I sit at my desk, trying to pirouette with overly dry hands (fail) I thought to myself, I wonder what the guys on ExoMagic would say if asked, What do you guys prefer, sweaty moist hands or dry ashy hands?

I have noticed that dry hands make somethings like double lifts and turnovers way easier, but I have also noticed that some flourishes are next to impossible to do with dry hands.

I want to hear your comments and what you think are pros and cons of each types of hand condition.

Wet/Moist hands will tank out your cards faster, and kill your fans and dribble flourishes.

So says the old man who can't dribble or fan worth a darn with dry cards or hands.

:/

yea my hands are just like way way WAY to dry. I am thinking of using some lotion on them maybe every other day to try and help them out a little. I don't want them dripping with moisture but I would like them to be a little less dry and ashy.

I need clean and dry hands for most of my card tricks, but I am not a card expert by any means so what do I know.

Great forum and website by the way. I am looking forward to ordering some of my magic supplies from e.m. in the near future.

Mine or right in the middle. Not dry and not dripping with sweat. I tend to wash my hands regardless when I am about to handle cards so by the time I am done they are slightly moist but not ruining my cards right away.
