Today I opened my first deck of 1001 Aladdin Playing Cards. I like them alot. I like the finish. I like the way they fan. I like the thickness of them. I like the fact that they come with two jokers, a guarantee card, and a calendar card so I can make a double backer without losing my jokers.
BUT I got to playing with them and they reminded me of another deck I just recently bought for the first time. I couldn't think of it for a while so I decided to rummage through my playing cards. I got to the Arrco Streamlines and it hit me. They feel exactly the same. They have the same exact finish. I am positive of that. The only difference I see in the cards, besides the backs, is the thickness of the card stock. The Aladdin's (minus the calendar card and guarantee card) seem to be about 3 or 4 cards thicker than the Streamlines. Picture 94.jpg Aladdin's on the left - Streamlines on the right Has anyone else had any dealings with these two brands of playing cards? Can anyone add their own insight to the topic?

I am saddened to see such a quality question thread go unanswered... Unfortunately, I can't help. I don't have any Arrco Streamliners to compare them to.
And I don't believe I'll be getting any in the future, because of this topic. I prefer thinner decks, and if my Aladdins feel exactly the same, and are thinner, I'm happy with them.

Brandon you have it backward the arcco streamlines are thinner than the aladdins. The aladdins are the thickest card I've ever used.

Well at first I thought that the same company made them both, bt ARRCOs are made in the US, so I have no idea. You are correct about the finish sort of. My arrcos are a little smoother than my alladins, but only something an OCD kid would notice (me).

@dbmagic The Aladdins are made in America too. They are produced by USPCC they are just sold by The National Card Company in Singapore. So in a way you were right. Both decks of cards are made by USPCC, but what cards aren't?
@Brandon You can pick up streamlines at Wal-Mart for a buck a pack.
