ExoMagic Member of the Month!

With the expansion of the ExoStore and new members everyday we have made the decision to resume MEMBER OF THE MONTH prizes. The prize will be an award icon and a prize from the store (admin discretion) or a $10.00 credit in the ExoStore. By this prize we wish to thank the most active members in the ExoCommunity and in turn encourage everyone to participate actively on the forum.

All NON-STAFF members of ExoMagic.com are considered participating in this contest. The Member of the Month (A.K.A : MOM) will be selected through participation on ExoMagic.com.

To make things more clear here are some traits that the MOM should have :

Good forum participation

Pertinent posts (Example : A user who thought of a great thread)

Publication of Articles

Quality of the Articles

Publication of Reviews

Quality of the Reviews

Publication of Academy videos

Quality of Academy videos/reviews

Answers other member's requests

Shares his knowledge of magic to the community

The MOM will not necessarily be the most active member however. The MOM will be randomly selected, by Admin, among those who were nominated by their peers by being the most qualified in the past month.

At the beginning of each month the winner of the previous month will be notified via PM. Also the winning member's name will be posted in the Contest Forum.

All in all, we want to thank all members for their participation.

How do I become a MOM?

-Well that's easy to answer. You are nominated by your peers. You can not nominate yourself. Multiple nominations will not help determine the MOM.

Where do I send a nomination for a MOM?

-Nominations are to be sent via submission form. You can submit members for submission at: Award Recommendation Form

Can I be a MOM more than one time in a year?

-You can be nominated every month, and yes you could be a MOM every month if we see fit.

Can site staff be nominated for MOM?

-No, we here at ExoMagic are here to bring you the best community we can. If you have any feedback on how Staff is doing please post it HERE

What does it mean to be a MOM?

-First off you get a MOM icon and you also get something free from the ExoStore. Next you get the satisfaction of knowing you are what every member of ExoMagic should strive to be.

The awards are not quite 'gone' :p

What happened is we used to have an award system, and when we upgraded it was disabled since it was not utilized. It is still hibernating in the background, but I needed it used before we have it enabled

Same as the contest 'forum'. It has been removed as well. However, times are changing, we have a real store and real products to offer as prizes now. Not to mention ExoMagic is now #1 focus, so we can expect to see a lot more coming from this.

If there are any questions please contact me! I would love to see some more nominations! We currently have only received 1.

I have added an award system to reflect the winners of Member of the Month. I apologize for anyone who had previous medals, they are no longer valid.
