smart choice to perform close up magic

hi guys
this is my first thread and i hope im not posting it in wrong section.
sorry for my bad english.
first i want to know what kind of trick you like to perform when you doing close up magic?
my choice is perform card tricks.why?cause for me its safe and clean and no need extra time to setup.
i have a bad experience when doing close up magic. its happen 2 times or more.
spectators can see the IT and im get caught

thats why im not performing levitating object when do close up magic.
please give me your opinion

Learn a good ambitious card routine. Michael Ammar has a good one.
Alternatively, just learn a card force that feels comfortable to you and your setting and be a one-trick pony for a while.

I also prefer card magic, but also tricks with coins, strings etc.
In my opinion these small everyday-objects, you can carry around everytime are the best things to amaze people impromptue.
The spectators don't expect that one of your card is double-backed, or your common-looking coin is a bite coin.
They may not even know that things like a raven exist and also without gimmicks there are so many ass-kicking but inscrutable effects.

What trick I do depends entirely on my audience and environment. If it's one person, I'll normally do a force and various reveals, maybe ACR, Fallen, etc. If I know the people I'm performing for think that they "know" what I'm doing, I'll do a mind blower, like Stigmata.
