That's right, I managed to swing a seat at the Private Dinner with Paul Harris. That is freaking amazing and all, but I do not believe that I can make it. I am kinda in a bind. It is a 13 hour drive, and I am a poor college student. I will decide in the next day or so here, but I will more than likely be selling my seat to the highest bidder. I love you guys, so I am posting here.

This is NOT an easy thing to come by, and you have to have bought Paul Harris' True Astonishment, but this is a chance of a lifetime that I am trying to swing here, if I can't it is going very soon to someone else.

Let me know what any of you is willing to pay via private message ASAP. I extend the offer to the *********** website tomorrow morning if I can't make it.

Money and time are the biggest issues. Friday is my really busy day at Uni, and it kinda restricts me to flying. There is no cheap and/or easy means from here to fly there, I've been looking, trust me. I am still a little sick feeling when I think of it...

Haha, well, I could have gone and spent all the money that is going to get me through this first year at school (which isn't much). If it was a place I could drive round trip in a day, even getting back way early the next morning, I would have done it. Sadly, it's 13 hours. I am going to kick myself forever for not making it.

On a lighter note, I ended up with PH's True Astonishments ($300) and his AoA set signed ($135) for $150. Not such a bad deal in the long run, and besides, someone else who really wanted to go is still getting the chance, I didn't just waste it.

You truly missed an experience.

I was lucky enough to meet Paul when he did the A-1 convention many years ago, it was right after his 3 books came out.

I walked up to him and handed him the first book and asked if he would autograph it. He asked me if I had the other two with me, which I did of course, so he signed all three of them.

I was impressed.
