Distortion Gimmick (rough Draft), For now, picture only

Forgive the crudeness of the picture, but I did it best I could. The pips are just regular cut out pips, and its regular fishing line used. When I fix my camera I will try to make a video tutorial.

Against my better judgement, I decided to give a go at making the gimmick. Despite ruining a 4 and a 2 of diamonds, I am relatively satisfied. Really wasn't as hard as I expected.

However, Exo, I am having trouble controlling it. How do you make the pips move?

You see the knot?

You simple apply pressure to the knot and pull down with your thumb. Once that is done, you will see the pips move in opposite directions. And to move them back, visa versa

Thanks, but I trashed my gimmick. The fishing line I use isn't all that slippery, and it's pretty noticeable. And I might of... ripped one of the holes, so now the top pip doesn't go all the way back up...

I kinda get how it is..... but what kind of lines do they use? Aren't fishing lines a little toooooo visible?

Does it work with invisible thread? I just have 0,35mm fishing line, as I remember... and it's quite visible

I'm just finishing the gimmick but the last knot is f***ing hard to make. It needs to be tight as shit and the construction taut. Dammit this is really hard. If I succeed I will post a video tutorial :rolleyes:
