NeoMagician closes it's download section

Today I noticed, that NeoMagician closes it's door just like ExoMagic did.
I wonder if Exo actually initiated this or somebody else.

Anyways, I feel just as sad about this as the shutting down of ExoMagic, because there was a great database of downloads.

Waht d'you think about this?

I don't know much about Neomagic, and I know they were happy that we shutdown download... but I have nothing against them.. Wish them well.

They closed it for the same reasons Exo closed ours. The news is very saddening, and hopefully this is the last of it.

Going underground is always a possibility when shit like this happens. There are sites I belong to that went off shore and underground whose members are by invite only to keep the creeps out. They all charge a small membership fee as well to cover the cost with such a site.

I belong to a few such sites/forums, but not any are for learning and perfecting magic (Not yet anyway). If I told you what sites I?m talking about they wouldn?t be Private and I would have to kill you. LOL. Just kidding. Anyway there are ways/options to make this go away.

But this is a sharing site whose members share advice and techniques for their craft. 98% of what goes on here is perfectly fine. The only problem is when it comes to downloads which was the same problem with the other sites I belong to who went underground to protect themselves from the legal problems. I?m new to this forum but have done a ton of reading and Love what I see. It?s great to see so many good ideas and the help is world class.

Hello,

To clear things up I contacted the special agent that came by my home. I set up a meeting with him and talked with James Clark. Our conversation was very short and to the point, I gave them all of Neomagician's personal information.
Name, address, college, parents, etc...

I guess you can say it's my fault...Well you can say it's all my fault. However, I feel that if Neomagician would have not said those harsh words about ExoMagic shutting its downloads section I would not have acted the way I did.

I do apologize to all the members who lost their "Backup" site to download stuff from, but I feel that I had to put WagetheWar in his place. He stepped over me for the last time.

Oh, and CKY_Haggard, don't think I forgot about you! I did my own datamining on you too! We sent information to the law agencies in the UK. You are no longer in a place to insult me, as I did not insult you.....I told you karma was a bitch.

I would like to also note how proud I am of you guys! When ExoMagic shut the doors to the downloads section you guys acted very well. Very few of you said anything negative, and you all looked at the bright side. After reading every comment on Neomagician's page I came to realize, you are the best damn community I have ever met. Many of Neomagician's users say that the site "won't be the same", "we are going to lose all our members", or "damn, now I need to use LMT". Very proud that none of that took place on this site, and I will make it my personal goal to take care of you ALL.

Exo, you pointed out very well that most of us were sorry for shutting down Neomagician's downloads ,while at the same time they were glad that you closed your downloads section. I have spent may hours these days on the site reading every message and what I found out was that this "problem” made the community ( most of us) to come more close and I think that this is the most important: UNITY! I can assure you that with your character and support we will continue to give life and power to this forum!
