I was at Wal-Mart earlier and found these for $4. They are pretty cool. They don't fan very well though. Anyone else have them?

Yea. After playing with them for 6 hours last night I decided they are pretty much useless at this point. I still like them and I'm sure they have potential. If I can figure something out, I'll post it here.

I recieved these cards from my mother as a little thank you item, as she knows that while I am a magician, I also kind of collect different types of cards as well. They are excellent cards for springs and such, however due to the plastic nature, are horrible for fans. Some effects are still possible but, because of the see thruness (Is that even a word?) of them, you must be careful of what you attempt. I suggest playing around with them some more and you might be surpised at what you can get away with.

I'm not sure if you mean "are they thick" or "do they stick", so I'll answer both. As far as I can tell, they aren't really any thicker than normal Bicycles. They do have a tendency to "grab" one another, which is why they don't fan. I will find a way to get around that. The more I play around with them, the more I like them. There has to be some things that can be done with these cards that cant be done with normal ones, due to their "seethruness" (awesome word, I'm stealing it.)

Normally I use the plastic cards for card springing, and any shuffle that requires bending and warping of the cards, like the riffle shuffle and the one-handed shuffle. Besides the use of practice, yes, it can be used for playing card games, they're very durable

No. It has a whole other feel you can't get used to. There's another thread on these boards.
These are just collector-ones. You can't fan them at all and they're not even good enoguh to play a game of carsd with them... |
