Here's the product:
http://www.penguinmagic.com/specialo...ct.php?ID=9865 if you have bought them I have a question: Are they actually signed? or just a stamped copy?

I don't actually own them but I think they are actually signed. It does say that David has signed one of the decks so I assume that means it's his real signature.
For the price, that pretty good value! |

Those could be worth a few bob in a few years...but I've never really collected cards for money, so they don't look like I'll be picking them up.

I bought the combo today because I really wanted a Split Spades deck and the magic store I go to had them in. I'm sure if they were to increase in value it would've been better to keep them both in the plastic package they came in, but whatever. I'm leaving the signed deck box unopened and fooling around with the other one.
I'm in Canada though, so it set me back $31.50, ouch. Paying for customs and shipping would have been worse. But I haven't really bought anything in a while so I figured why the hell not. Looks like a legit signature, and the deck is pretty good. Got a laugh out of the King with David's face on it, lol. |

It would be a lie if it wasn't real then - I doubt they would do so.... Btw I don't get the hype about these decks except you're a collector. A friend of mine collects and has about 130 different - a funny thing is hes twenty years old now and never did any magic. He started with about 6 years but didn't collect any since he got 15 or so. I'm seriously wondering about buying his collection one day because he doesn't care about it and doesn't know what these are worth already. Adding the dananddave ones and some of these from *********** and maybe blaines this collection could be a few thousands one day lol... Too bad I'm a pupil and have no money
.Anyway I find those ones stupid as long as you don't collect but collecting sounds like a neat hobby to me. |
