What do you think about De'vo?

The thread title says it all.

I mean, De'vo actually invented a lot of great tricks and cuts, but he looks like a total idiot with his "vom Schattenreich" (which means something like 'from the Dark side' in english) and his brown robe, trying to look like some kind of illuminati.
He tries to be really special and cool, but that's just aweful.
Also, he always says that he's so damn 'underground'. Everybody who does XCM/Flourishes/Cardistry knows him. Because of XB he's the first guy you'll get to know. I think he actually comes BEFORE Dan & Dave and this gay guy I don't know the name of right know.

In addition, his video editing is horrible. He looks like a total newbie with this text effects everybody uses and stuff.

His music is okay, but not the best Techno-Like music out there.

This is just my opinion. Tell me what you think!

I think he is very skilled, but yeah, I'm not crazy about his whole character theme.

but the theme is just horrible.......

Umm. Won't say i like him. I think 'corny' is the word to describe him. I love his tricks though. His flourishes are amazing. The whole 'I'm shpookie' thing doesn't work out too well. I don't think too many would care to see his face if he revealed himself. Don't like his character theme. Doesn't work at all.

master with crazy XCM stuff, but i think that guy has been playing world of warcraft a little too much. But what i hate most are the mortal kombat 2 style text effects with sounds like "let's learn" with mortal kombat voice.

what do i think about de'vo? to tell you the truth, the first time i saw devo on video, i was floored. way down the floor. this guy is amazing. he is highly skilled and disciplined! according to history, he goes through the ulmen trials and such to prove he's a master of XCM. his video editing is crappy and the sound effects are a bit weird but technically, he is one skilled guy who's contributed a lot of great cuts to the world of cardistry. the downfall of devo though is the applicability of his contributions. only a handful can do the things he does. personally, i quit doing his stuff and stuck with dan and dave.

to compare them with devo, they're more graceful with their hand movements and their flourishes fit my generation. just my two cents.

So, I agree with you aswell, but this Ulmen4 Trial is just crap.
He and his 3 mates look like total idiots in their cloaks in this little village, about 100km away from where I live.

hmm i dont really care about his character theme i learn a lot from him. I mean well if you buy a dvd what you gonna do is learn from it...

My second was, "Hmm... He's using a public template that is available on pretty much all video editing software... Not very professional..."
