As soon as you do this and clean yourself of the other card, give them the "shapeshifted" card. Tell them to check out the front and back, make sure it isn't two cards. With that misdirection, you can do the shittiest pass in the world and they won't catch it. They then might ask to see the second card, let them take off the top card and they'll be like "wtf." Let them look through the entire deck and they'll find it in the middle, making it seem even more impossible.

Shapeshifter is pretty obvious but when it hits, it hits kinda hard.
