I picked up a pair of Streamline Playing Cards the other day since they were only a buck a piece. Usually I ruin a deck when I take them on my trips. The cabin pressure in the planes cause most cards to warp. They have a slight warp that the Porper Clip should remedy.
I thought there was a review for them on this site but I couldn't find it. The cards have a slick finish to them and they handle a lot like plastic cards. I haven't broken them in yet. I found it interesting that the Joker is the Joker from the 1970's Belgian Cartamundi printing of the Deland Automatic Deck. The slick finish is also much like them. The Cartamundi cards are cut much better. So you ask, where are you going with this? If I take the Blue Deland Joker (or one of the court cards) and put it with a red Streamline Deck, I can do some cool deck color changing routines. I love the look of the Deland cards so this gives me an excuse to use them.
