Halloween is just around the corner...
Which is a bizarre magicians heyday for props! I already bought a small plastic necklace that had a bunch of solid plastic skull beads strung upon it. I filed the tell tale plastic seams off and antiqued them with some shoe polish and varnish to make some cheap yet AWESOME pendulums. I have also been thinking about getting some critters to embed within the paper of my props, say some centipedes or worms but I am not sure what to make using such an effect. Finally they have battery operated strobe lights and blacklights. Those things used to cost an arm and a leg and now they are less then 5 bucks! Wahoo! But again, I can't think of a magical use for it... Give me a couple of days and I will post what I come up with, in the mean time I thought I'd challenge you guys to see what you can come up with. My final thought is that I am willing to bet fog machines are really cheap now too and will add that to my scavenger list! -misj- |
