Hi guys, been watching some bill Malone stuff (on the loose 2) and really digging his card stuff.
I'm having trouble with the "Gemini Twins" routine. Never had any trouble with the gemini count - but during the third phase he does a double deal in where he pushes the top card over - and "buckles" the bottom card out enough to turn them over as one. I'm not understanding how to buckle the card out away from the palm. I've always buckled cards using the middle finger just to seperate it from the rest of the pack - If anyone has any recommendations on this kind of move, or maybe can help explain it to me in more detail (he doesn't go over it at all) I'd be very grateful. Immediately wanted to learn this one, and didn't think it would be hard but I'm not understanding this double deal method at all. Thanks! |

no ones familiar with this kind of move?
I've heard of buckling a card before to get it pushed out... I've never seen it explained though. Been trying to work it out myself, but buckling the bottom card of any sized packet just pushes it towards my palm and puts a space in the outer part. I'm guessing maybe theres some sort of springing action that causes it to jog itself outwards? still lost and close to giving up. There has to be a card worker out there who can roll his eyes and explain this to me. |
