British Pennies

Anyone out there want to sell me a roll of new British pennies- the small pennies that are copper plated steel?

I was interested in a set as well...
I ran across a magnet activity/science kit that had British pennies in it.

BUT I couldn't bring my self to pay $20+ bucks for 300 British pennies and a magnet. LOL! We need to find some one across the "pond" and trade them - I think our half dollars are in demand with magi there, or maybe a pack of bikes. Yes / No?

BTW have you seen the new dragon backed bikes? Pretty sweet!

I now have around 100 British pennies. I should package them and sell them as 'Acrobatic Coins'. I can get 4 of them to balance edge to edge. I can also have them dance around.

Where did you get them? Do you spring for a science magnet kit?

How are they different besides magnetic?

I searched for them on Ebay and found a couple of reasonable deals. I bought a lot of 100 mixed pennies. Out of the 100, only 13 were the older bronze pennies, so that leaves 87 steel pennies. I also bought 12 uncirculated pennies. I have several coins for many of the years minted.

If i resell a few of the pennies, I can easily get my investment back.

The size of the pennies is between that of a nickel and US cent.
