about EMC

Just out of curiosity, How many of you guys have joined EMC? What are your thoughts on it?
I'll put in my piece to start the ball rolling.

Though I'm not a professional magician but I still joined. I want to gain more exposure, gain some insight to magic itself and perhaps make it self-sustainable. =P Of course, not to forget some techniques that might be discussed during the conference.

I have not yet joined. but I will. I will have to starve myself for approximately 1 month and a week or two to get the cash to join but It is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed. specially for us who don't get a chance to go to conventions often. .

Great! Yeah, there isn't much conventions (in fact I've not heard of one) in my country before. haha

so do I. haha. and the goodies you get from the EMC are enough reasons to sign up. I think almost everyone in the exo staff have already signed up.

On a side note when I read them talking about this on tinychat. I thought EMC is exomagic convention. I know, stupid right? hahaha

True. A dvd of the conference itself! haha. No worries, you arn't the only one. At first I thought Alex and the exostaff were organising EMC too!

Hopefully, we wont face any streaming problems during the conference like what happened at tinychat just now.

Hey guys,

We are not organizing EMC, but we are indeed a media partner. We are assisting EMC with advertising the entire program. I myself had already registered and the majority of the ExoMagic staff is indeed going to be present.

It seems like a wonderful program, and everything is well put together. I probably won't be watching the live conference for all 3 days (too much sitting in front of a PC). The selling point to me was the DVD copy of the lectures.

Simply priceless...

Hey guys, most all of us will for sure be participating!

It's a great idea, and I'm extremely excited, if you've never gone to a conference then this is a great one to attend, I saw most of these guys at magic-con, and you'll hear some of their philosophies in my blog posts.

You'll get a ton out of the event, I can guarantee if you plan on working in magic, this conference will pay for itself over and over again.
