Even if I've never seen him perform I know that he is a really great magician and person.

Nice. a compassionate aspect of the U.S army.

Now, if only they do that in my country's army. maybe they can start a small entertainment group, something like the drama club that they already haveor something.

I have seen this and it is a touching story. He seems like a very genuine person that cares about people and really uses magic to make people happy. I think that is commendable.

There is one line in the piece that i wasn't comfortable with, where it says the Army asked him to preform for villages of Civilians. I don't know the details here, but if this was done in uniform then, to me, this seems like it crosses a line. It sounds like He and his talent are being used as a PR or Propagandist tool to improve the Military's image. This sounds, in a modern conext, like it could be similar to Robert-Houdin's "Magical Mission". So that doesn't sit quite right with me.
