Default Question.

Recently I've been trying to save cash and not waste money.
That's why I am going to buy a Torn and restored card effect to get rid of my junk decks, cause they're just chilling on top of my table and I don't mind forcing each and every spare card I have to put all of them to good use. haha.

Any of you know which is the best tnr?
and any more Ideas on how to put junk decks and spare cards to good use?

I also think hyper cards by andrew mayne is also a good way of using junk decks.

To be honest I've only performed a torn and restored card once,
TnR by Mathieu Bich but I don't like the hustle fo making the gimmicks.
so please do suggest!!.

Thanks.

there was a list floating around of like 100 things you can do with old cards. might be helpful.
On a side note, one thing i did was to make an "In a Flash" gimmicked deck. look the trick up on sankeymagic.com. If you use logic, you can deduce exactly how the trick is done from the video

Hey RH

This is a problem?

One thing i tend to do with my older decks is practice certain things with them... Boomerangs, Card Throwing, Mercury folds, etc.

Do you have selected cards signed and give them away in any effects that you do? Cards and decks can disappear pretty fast that way.

If you are really looking for something that uses up old decks, why not a full deck trick rather then a single TnR? Paul Harris - The Big Tiny?

There are quite a few different TnR card effects around, to me it really depends on your style and what you feel comfortable preforming. I like Dave Williamson's version which i believe is on "Slight of Dave" vol. 1 or 2. Guy Hollingworth has a beautiful version but seems like it's not comfortable for most people. Charlie Frye's Ripped and Fryed is a fantastic version as well and it uses up 2 cards What about card warp or 3 card monty?

some thoughts,
cheers,
J1P

By the way, Angle Zero would be a nice follow-up to TnR effects. And you can use logic to deduce how it can be done. (at least how I would do it) =)

thanks for the replies guys. I have been doing Charlie Frye's Ripped and Fryed. And Big tiny is just not my type of effect and I've got 6 junk decks around 40 cards each and big tiny would make the cards too fast haha.

And I will surely check out david williamson's sleight of dave.
And thanks for the mercury fold practice Idea haha.

But do any of you know any more signed TnR effects that's... "economical"? or wallet friendly?haha

I really didn't like TnR because of making the gimmick every performance so anything that does not require a big preparation would be fine.
