ExoMagic Needs your help designing some banners!

Hello everyone,

I have been working on ExoMagic behind the scenes every day, and I need your support and help. I know there are a couple graphic designers around ExoMagic, so I would like to reach out to you guys for your help.

We have 3 advertisements that need to be made. I thought it would be cool to offer the users a chance to design these banners instead of me.

Advertisement 1 (http://i39.tinypic.com/x24hnc.png):
* This advertisement will link to ExoMagic.com : forum - Learn, teach, and share magic freely.. It is supposed to be a forum link connecting the online shop to our forum.

Advertisement 2 (http://i39.tinypic.com/vwx5ac.png):
* This advertisement will link to ExoMagic.com : forum - Learn, teach, and share magic freely.. It is supposed to be a forum link connecting the blog to our forum.

Advertisement 3 (http://i43.tinypic.com/6o3ji1.png):
* This advertisement is open for free-interpretation. It can be for our TinyChat (ExoMagic.com - Live Video Chat >> Learn.Teach.Evolve), Link Directory, The ExoMagic Academy, or anything you feel needs to be on the front splash page.

Depending on the number of entries given in, I will offer a store credit for the magic shop.

I'm a little unclear on the first two ads. Did you mean to say...
#1 From the Store to the Forum?
and
#2 From the Blog to the Forum?

As for the image sizes, if you actually go to the webpages, there are currently images already in place. Whichever size the current images are should work out just fine

I put a few things together of different styles. I hope it helps you out. If you want to use any of these and need design files or adjustments made just let me know.








Photoshop muted the red during optimization, maybe i can fix that.

RH, Thank you for the compliment, but i don't really agree with it. To me it's not a contest. Alex asked for some help... I happen to be a designer and love opportunities to blow off "real work" so i put some quick ideas together. I think when you talk about design and aesthetics, there is technically good design and not so technically good design, but that doesn't mean it's "good" design. After that it's all taste, aesthetics and context, making sure the design works for the purpose it was created for.

for instance....
I really like the look of mikkparg's design! but one concern i might have is how well it would work as a web banner ad. To me this would be a fantastic business card or promotional card design. Nice work mikkparg.

So in general i think the more ideas and perspectives there are the better.

That looks plain strange (In a good way, though! ). The neck seems longer than it should be since the skull is gone. Almost alien-esque. Eye catching, to say the least!

Ok so I figured I would have a go at this banner thing. So what if I totally stole Mikk's idea. Get off of my back about it. Thanks for the idea Mikk, it's just that your pic of the brain and eyes was the only good picture of brain and eyes that I could find without that stupid shadow ad thing on it.
