Hello from Colorado

Hello All,

Cutnstuf here. I've poked my head in the door a few times to see what this place was about, and I must say I like what I see. So time to stop lurking and say hello.

I've been dabbling in magic since I was a boy. I just turned 63 in December so that makes 50 + years. I mainly enjoy close-up and least like mentalist and "big box" illusions.

Hope to have the opportunity to chat and share with some folks here.

Glad to have you wondering around here (we all do it time to time) Great to find another older-generation magician here to provide some classic insight. We have a few running around here (4-5 of them) around your age. I'm personally 21.

As for the chatting, we are on just about all the time at ExoMagic - Tinychat - Hope to see ya there. The general rule of thumb in the art that I have learned here is the more you give the more you receive.

Again with another pie thread Alex, I gained another pound.
Welcome to ExoMagic it's really going to help out with tips and skills with someone of your level and skill. It's really cool to have some senior magicians on board aswell (no offence) what I mean is that it is great to see magic travel with people as they grow up.

Now for the pie, for a dessert I like apple pie, for dinner I like steak and kidney pie, I will try melted cheese on it great tip outlaw!! You get rep for that!

*The gray knights officially include ... Yours truly, Mofo, Duder aka Outlaw. I think Herald Ross is a member but that has yet to be confirmed. Not sure what other big guns we have hanging out there. I think we should induct seeker as well, as he is very mature for his age but I don't think the other side will let that fly... On the other hand if we want to win (and see it**) were are probably going to have to cheat.

It is funny that you just mentioned big box illusions as I woke up this morning and I had been dreaming about building a black art screen. LOL I am hoping to get good enough at magic and stage hypnosis to do cruise ships someday. I have a couple of fellow friend hypnotist who do so and I figure they are going to want to retire someday! LOL I am learning magic to get a leg up on them...

Anyways, to each his own... I am not really fond of closeup magic ... But I have a confession to make. I haven't seen enough of it to make an informed decision either! Maybe you can fix that for me! I am open minded ... Just the other day someone was telling me how empty my head is!
