Food is a great way to get to know people. Think of all the things in life that food revolve around. In almost EVERY culture, being invited to eat with someone is a sign of respect and a way of making them family...
Only instance I can think of off the top of my head that I would not want to be invited to a dinner is Cannibals. I do not like the idea of being eaten...

ANYWAYS!
WELCOME TO EXOMAGIC CUT!

I too love close-up Magic. I would love to know what kind of effects you do. Cards? Coins? Both? None?

Also, if I am to be kidnapped and taken to hang out with the *Gray Knights* then I will require one beer for the ride there and 2 beers once I arrive....LOL.

Well, I look forward to getting to know you more Cut. If you ever have any questions, let me know. You can PM me or email me at JacobH@ExoMagic.com.
Sam, Brandon, and Alex are always willing to help to. Just don't let Sam buy you food. He will then try to put the moves on you. And from what Alex has told me...No is not an answer he takes. ;-)

Make sure you check out the Blog and the Store.

Oh so you did....

I didn't see it because I thought the boxed stuff was mine. The evil of assumptions!

We will have to trade contact info... But my cell phone is turned off at the moment. I meant to get that fixed but it snowed and I didn't feel like dealing with it. Excuses! Excuses!

Did you know that every sat at 12:30 (I think) ... they have a gathering of magi at the Perkins across the street from Dave and Busters? I have gone once or twice... Pretty fun but there is never any mentalist. Lots of close up artist so you'd definitely love it. Some of them are pretty well know nationally! Just show up, ask for the group and introduce yourself. That is what I did. If you are intrested let me know and I will try to meet you there!

No probs! And no, I didn't know about the magic gathering at Perkins. Actually, I work on Saturdays, so I wouldn't be able to get over there. A few pretty good guys came out of Colorado, Dave Neihbors for one.(I think that's how you spell his name) I think he lives in Vegas now.

Yes! It seems operation 'Blue Hare' is in full swing! Pretty soon in order to count all the members of the 'ancient army of the midnight mofos' (or if you prefer the 'grey knights') we will have to use BOTH Hands. it is rather funny that all of us joined within such a short time period. Synchronicity at it level best!!

Cut -

I think they do it on Monday nights too... I will have to check and get back with you. Where do you work? Are they hiring? LOL No seriously are they hiring?

I think it was the "Ole' Fart" homing beacon that went off. As soon as Misj registered on ExoMagic it was like someone turned Wheel of Fortune on in the nursing home. All of the old magicians came out of the wood works, walkers and all.

Why lookie here! Is that jealousy raising it's ugly green head?

Nope it is just sammie boy* wishing he could be as cool as us when he grows up! The way you said that makes me think of my grandfather and his famous pull my finger trick. Now that's Magic! LOL

BTW Cut I think you broke the record with your intro post and winning personality. I have never seen anyone get 21 replies. LOL

Oldsters of the world, UNITE!!
Mondays, actually every evening is a strike out. I am a private music teacher, guitar specifically, and I teach out of my private studio in my home. (the commute is murder! ) My Schedule is from 3 to 8 PM daily and 10 to 5 on Saturday. During the other hours, I am "House Husband Extraordinaire" performing such high level tasks such as, grocery shopping, laundry, and my all time favorites, shoveling snow and yard work. PS: on Sunday I hide under the bed!!

I don't really even know how to respond to this thread... I read Sam's posts and couldn't stop laughing haha. I could picture you guys now grunting and groaning at the nurse for turning the TV off, running back to your computers in your room.

I love reading and having fun with these introduction posts. Really breaks the ice :p

Man Misj you are in rare form (or is that TRUE form? Letting your guard down a bit more?)

Welcome to the site CutNstuf. I'm pretty new to magic personally, but have had a great time learning from Jacob (Seeker), Sam and Misj and everyone else here that I am too sleep deprived to recall at the moment.

Ok, gotta go put the kids to bed.

Hey, I don't have blue hair!...well, come to think of it I have no hair....on my head you freaks. If I had no hair anywhere else that would be weird. What are you guys thinking really?

@Sam,
Wheel of Fortune? What happened to Lawrence Welk? Oh yeah, he died. Kind of like Drew Carey's recent career...oh wait, that's the Price of Right. Another Golden Oldie classic.

I'm only 38, and I'm moving into middle age kicking and screaming. :/

I'll be sure to bring some Red Wine or Riesling for ya. Look at ya acting all tough saying you like Beer. That's so cute.

Red wine is fine too!
I enjoy a nice glass once in a while. Had one the other day actually.

I figured you to be more of a beer man, so we could both drink.
But wine is fine.

I have yet to have some good Absinthe. The American version sucks.
