Hello every 1 !
I recently discovered exo-magic's great magic supply site and now this very cool looking forum too!
I have been into card magic for about 16 months now and I am literally 'hooked'.
My only regret is that I did not 'discover' this very cool art form when I was much younger, because I would be much better at it today than I am now.
I am looking forward to chatting with everyone here.

I don't know if you 'literally' mean what my pie of choice is, so at the risk of making myself look foolish (Which won't be the first time believe me) I'll give you my two favorite pies.
Key Lime or Boysenberry Pie, depending on my mood at the moment.

Have you ever tried 'Europeon' A La Mode -w- your pie?
In the U.S.A. we consider A La Mode to be Ice Cream -w- the Pie.
But in Europe 'A La Mode' means having melted cheese on top of the pie.
It may sound gross but it's actually very good.
For example;
I like to melt a piece of cheddar cheese slice on top of a good cherry pie -w- a quick zap in the microwave. The pie is warm, sweet & tangy with the melted cheese to enhance the flavors.
I wash it down with some ice cold milk.
It's very tasty i.m.o.

I don't know that cheddar sounds too good like that (I will have to try) but I would not be above marscapone or brie melted on it.

One of my favorite h'ourderves ever is made by filling small phylo pastry cups with a dob of homemade cranberry sauce, topped with a little cube of brie, then baked off. Very pie-esque, and a beautiful example of sweet + cheese.

Yummm this whole thing abut pie got me interested in this thread more than any other intro and i now weigh an extra 250 grams.....

If you are a beginner (1-1 and a half years) this site is incredibly helpful in that the academy will grant you all knowledge a beginner needs (which at this time you only need one more legitimate post!!!
By the way did you know you look a bit like a comedian called "Justin lee Collins?"

Hi Seeker,

I am an old man compared to most of you younger guys, I'm 40 years old.
I recently got into card magic about 18 months ago.
I also purchased a folding quarter not too long ago and coin tricks are interesting to me as well.
I definately have to work on my finger dexterity though.
I am also interested in 'loops' and 'invisible thread' and eventually I would also like to do some levitating type tricks.
I like to play poker. I also like to swim and ride my bike when the weather permits. I love spending most of my free time with my wife and our son who is 8 years old.

I am rather new to magic as well... but I am rather well versed in the art of hypnosis which is actually far more handy then I first thought when I decided to take up magic. I am also more of a prop maker then a performer at the moment...
