Hi everyone, I'm James Clark from Black's Magic and Street Magic Magazine. Yep, the owner and editor of one of the top magic magazines in the world. I heard about this site and figured I'd visit since one of my productions (Prohibition) is being shared here. Now, before you freak out... I realize that this happens and there is little I can do about it so I won't waste your time talking about it or trying to sway your views. It is what it is. So, what the hell... I get to meet some people who love magic and like to share it. Well, that describes me and my company to the letter. I love magic, I enjoy sharing it, and I see no reason why we can't all get along. Well I got to tell you I bought the Genuine Original Prohibition DVD last year and loved it. And will always buy original if i really like it and think the production value is worth it.. as many of today's dvds are just repackaging old tricks and some really ridiculous method... which is a shame!

For a site like this, being able to see the value of the video before buying is really a great help, especially to poor magicians in poor country with poor exchange rate!

However recently I have been interested in booktest and thinking of getting one of the many from blacksmagic, I send in a question via the webform and it has taken ages and i haven't got a reply... I only receive mail saying its pending, then another one saying she/he had to forward the mail to appropriate person that knows the answer and still no news. Hope its not lost in the pile or forgotten..

James earned my respect with this post alone. I've heard so much of Blacks Magic from The Magic Cafe, including the previous controversy they had with their version of the PK Rings with that of the Wizard.

Great to have one of the frontrunner in the magic community over here at this forum, and I must say, Charlie Justice is equally charismatic in his own right!
