Hello,

My name is Katherine, and I'm 22 years old. I mostly have been doing magic to entertain kids for a couple of minutes in passing, because I've had various part-time jobs around kids--so I really only know a hand-full of simple tricks that I've been practicing on and off for about 3 years.

I'm interested in all sorts of magic, but only really know some card and coin tricks that I've picked up from various sources. I definitely consider myself a beginner, but lately I've had an increased desire to learn more.

Other things of note about me: I really enjoy learning, music, science, people, motorcycles, and anything that gets my brain working. I also rather enjoy computers, the internet, and graphic-design. I'm currently a student working part-time at a local elementary school.

My favorite pie is 3.14159[...],
My favorite animal is anything with four legs and fur,
I love root beer, but drink more water than anything,
and enjoy star-gazing with my acoustic guitar....

I think that's about it... maybe... there's a lot to the person that is me.

Hi Kat!

I keep saying we need more ladies here, even if it means we have to clean the place up a bit! Maybe toss a new blanket on the beer can couch!

So what is your best trick - Right now if I have to do a card trick I lean on a trick deck. I am better at building props then actually use them at the moment.

Anyways there is alot to learn - Hope you enjoy your stay!

My best trick is very simple, and I can do it with a borrowed deck. I get a victim--I mean volunteer--to pick a card and place it on top of the deck. Then after an overhand shuffle, I use a slight variation on the Charlier Cut to present the card. It entertains kids for a little bit.

Welcome to Exomagic Kat, Magic is a wonderful hobbie that I hope youll keep practicing. There is so many stuff out there you can do that will amaze not only the kids, but adult too. I love to make people dream and think that magic may exist, to me thats the real magic. When my nephews say ''Encore oncle Sylvain'' this is the only real reward I want.

Welcome to ExoMagic. Even if you do magic just to entertain kids for a few minutes, this place will really help you in your magic. Because of the simple fact that everyone here is a magician, you get real advice and if you are lucky, straight to the point Only kidding, the people here are great.

Sure it's nice to know another kid-entertainer is around.

I perform only for kids at the moment because of lack of gigs, but I hope I'll get booted up again with an adult gig soon.
