Smile How's everyone

Well I'm CallingEagle(Native American) I've already posted three times in the back design thread but I am new to Exo...I've been doing magic for 5 years. I have a nack for my own design on cards and well everything out there...even though I have never got my own designed deck...maybe in the future. I hope to be on regularily here to see what's new.

CallingEagle great to have you hear. I just saw an Eagle on the beach here yesterday, sadly a pretty rare sight these days.

What Nation are you from?

Thanks for your posts about the back design.

Tell us more about your magic? what you like, what you perform?

I'm a Lakota from South Dakota.

I do a lot of card close up magic...I'm currently looking into the Art of Astonishment books by Paul Harris...and trying to get a head start on this Halloween and doing some haunted routine or magic to fit the holiday.

Anyone with suggestions?

CallingEagle!

I think you should put to use your unique heritage and background and look in to horror / bizarre magic to tell a really scary indian ghost story for Halloween!

You could take almost any trick and put a spin on it - The tricks are the EASY part - the story is harder, but THAT is really what make the magic yours! I don't really have the background (for indian stories!), but I am sure you have a treasure trove of stories to tell! Think of a one of your grandfather's stories and a trick and then meld the two into a great piece of art. Only someone like you could to that with such authority and authenticity! Almost anything you say along those lines is going to have some serious impact!

When I was in Alaska I had a good friend who was a native, and the stuff he would tell me stayed with me to this day, many years later. We lost touch when I came back to Colorado. I really do miss his stories!
