Hi all
anyone performed enough with the mental photography to know some useful tips on handling the mental photography deck? I am not able to consistently spread the cards to show that they're blank there will sometimes be 1 or 2 cards which "peeks out", so im wondering if there're any techniques to spread the cards nicely, or isit just dependent on the quality of the deck? |

After you have been around a while and have access to the Academy, you will be able to ask this question and get a more specific answer.
For now, I would ask, 'Are you keeping enough even pressure on the cards as you spread them?' and secondly, 'Is it always the same cards that you are having a problem with?' There are different degrees of quality in manufacturing of MP decks. Some are very poor and others are very good. If it is just a few cards, you may have to do a little 'repair work.' You may try working with half the deck and seeing if everything works for you. If so, keep practicing and adding card a few at a time until you are using the entire deck successfully. Don't get discouraged. I may take a while to figure out exactly how to hold the cards and apply the correct amount of pressure. The effect is a great one. You may want to search on Youtube for Bill Malone doing the Mental Photography effect.
