Slogan Change

Well, a sad point in time has come... no more downloads. Well I didn't have the required amount of posts anyway so what do I care?

Now I know that this wouldn't be a problem if the registrations were TRULY closed. I mean, I see new members every day or even a couple of hours. I thought there was closed registration!

Anyways, back to the point, shouldn't the slogan be changed? "Free Magic For The Masses" gives new members the impression when they first log in that there's free magic stuff here, i.e. downloads.

Probably the smallest thing you could ever think of, but hey, it's the slogan after all.

Exo posted a few weeks back that the registrations are open again.

Yes, chaning the slogan would make sense, but I bet Exo currently has other problems which are more important than the slogan.
I'm pretty sure, that it will be changed.

I would recommend closing registrations. This place doesn't need any new members for now, that's for sure. I would also consider making the forum completely unaccessable to those who aren't registered members. I think this was mentioned before, but i think (for the meantime, at least) this place ought to become really 'underground'.

The registrations will remain open, this site lost roughly 90% of its population due to the closing. Yes, many were leechers, but in that bunch were some good magicians. Registration will most likely remain open, but in the future I will screen all users again. Trust me, we are still underground : )

We are also currently working on a slogan change and quite a few other things.

Actually - it's better that all the leechers are gone now.

And more members are good for the communizty. Because they bring the discussions in here.

The closing of the downloads was a double-edged sword, we lost many members, but most were leechers. As for changing the slogan, I think we should keep it the way it is. We are still freely discussing the effects and methods of magic and sharing magic with those who wish to learn, so we are still offering "Free magic to the masses." We don't need videos or such to provide magic to others. We have our minds and of fingers and that's all we really need. It would be sad to change the slogan, just because one thing changed.

I think that the registrations must remain open. A community without new members is a community that will die.

As for the slogan, I think it is still correct.

I like the slogan as it is. It is still true to the heart of the site and it shouldnt change just becuase of the sad removal of the download section.

Dat shuld be slogan for me now...im suggesting again...dont let any leecher come to prevent dat..do smthing like only member can invite others??? or something like dat
