Trading forum?

I was thinking that a trading forum where members could sell/trade would be a good addition to the forums. It would be nice for forum members to have the chance to sell gaff cards that they made or other various things. However, if there is something wrong with having a trading outlet then that's cool too.

Along with trading (where we can trade, buy , sell), we can have a user feedback forum or something of the sort. It'd be nice for people to be able to sell off magic collectibles and stuff they don't use.

Yes, I agree. Not tricks though, only supplies, because we are sharing our tricks. I could make a few Self-Tying Shoelace gimmicks for all those interested...

Not to burst anyones bubble, but wouldn't you make more money selling it on EBAY to people that don't know much about magic? Not that you would want to rip anyone off, but if you are going to do this for money you might as well get as much as you can. And all the magicians here already know what the going prices are for everything. Unless of course you are trying to help your fellow magician out. Either for money or for help (?)

I would prefer to keep it within the context of Magic, simply because I doubt we want this site to become eBay, with people selling their wares.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't trade a brick of Jerry's (If I had any) for a priceless 'Ming' vase... Hahahaa!

If kept within context, I think it would be a great idea. From a developmental point of view, Exo & Team-ExoMagic would need to think about exactly what would go on in such a forum. I see it as a potential area where posts might overflow (Perhaps keep posting in there separate... i.e. it doesn't add to post counts). Also, it's likely to become the highest-used/-viewed thread which might get a little hostile at times (though I'm sure the majority of you will conduct trades decently!)

Will be looking forward to progress in this area!

We would also need some sort of reputation rating, like eBay so we can see who has experiance trading and what-not.
