Hall of Fame

Dear all,

I was recently wondering what could make the site better, and then I thought of a "Hall of Fame." This would be an amalgamation of all the most thought provoking and interesting threads on ExoMagic. Anybody starting a "Hall of Fame" thread could have a special status: not VIP or anything, just instead of "b00b/n00b" or "Student", they could be "Famous."
I know this idea is totally ripped of MagicHat.co.uk, but I think it could feasibly make our site work better.

You could open a poll and the users can decide if it's a hall of fame post or not.

But where's the point of doing this? It's a lot of work and a rank without special privileges is almost useless.

Breen: The mods could easily upgrade a particularly useful thread or controversial topic to "Famous", and the thread starter would become "Famous" as well.

The point of the idea is a) kudos, so everybody knows that you've submitted a particularly interesting thread, and b) usefulness, so everybody can go to the thread and download the vid/participate in the competition
