Standing Room Only here on the Rez.

Great show last night. I debuted my lastest version of my smash and stab effect while blindfolded. Quite scarey for them and me. I didn't use clear cups but they knew where the spike was.

Sankey's 'Nailed' and 'Astra Projection' were big hits for the night. 'How in the world did that card go across the room?', was one many of the comments after the show.

Magic Routine For A Blind Magician

After researching the 'Spike' effect, an idea came to mind. Why not put together a magic routine that can be done blindfolded. I have a number of ideas for patter like talking about 'blind cuts' and 'blind shuffles' and such. There are a number of card tricks that I can do blindfolded and a few other effects. Wanna be my apple stand for my knife throwing routine?

Anybody have any ideas? Anyone know of any blind magicians?

My intent is not to make fun of the blind but to come up with a unique routine. I have several relative who are blind and it would be neat to teach them a few tricks to do in my show.

Guys, sorry if i let any of you down but i have had a busy summer and was unable to be online as much but i have still been doing magic.
Here's a run down:

1st-20th July- Holidays, no internet access
21st-28th July-Summer Scheme-no time at all...
31st July-7th August- Scouts summer camp in Cheshire
11th August- First true free day!!!

would have loved to have been much more available but unfortunately i couldn't should be fine now...i hope...

Spike is one of the many smash and stab effects available. I think it is very much overpriced. The method used is very simple and straight forward- no electronics or marking of the cups. And, yes, the magician can be blindfolded! That was what attracted me to this version. I don't think that I'll be doing it much while blindfolded but the option is there. This system is almost as safe as it gets.Randi Rain's Tetanus is the only 100% safe way to do the smash and stab effect that I have come across.
