I like the idea of latin suits in the corner. Plus, we get a *Cough* subtle one-way back design.

one thing I've always wanted is for all 4 aces to be full designs, instead of only the ace of spades be special.

some things I've thought about are a sword going through the Ace of Hearts, with blood spatters over the card, or for the Diamond to be a multi-faceted actual diamond.

Latin suits for the corner pips would be simplest but it MIGHT also work replacing the suits entirely. cornman your merging of Breen and Kaito's work is spectacular, the blood splater effect is sensationally cool. I think that the aces should all have their own design as should all the royal's, or at least just the kings (we could use the 4 horsemen idea)

One thing I would like to mention, please keep this on topic. This thread is only for card back designs. If someone wants to make a thread on how the faces could look, that'd be awesome. Remember that this is an entire subforum dedicated to the cards, so if it's related, but not already specifically posted, start up a new thread on it!

One last thing ~ My laptop is currently undergoing major rennovations, so I cannot help a lot, in terms of coming up with designs (drawing them, I mean). I'm still going to be hanging around to put in suggestions, but that's about all I can do at the moment.

T11 is putting these out pretty quick here from the Buck twins. Possible inspiration, but I hope more so for motivation to get our cards out there.

Dang, I had thought at first that that ace was a suggestion for the design. Then I read the rest of your post.

But yeah, that should be motivation for us. Are there any other suggestions on the back design? If not, then let's decide on one that we like. Once we have the back design done, we can get down to the nitty-gritty, such as faces, gaffs, etc.

A rough idea of a possible back design for the cards. The real card would have brighter reds and smoother fade jobs. We could also add cool graphic to the corners to help with a nice look in fans. Any ideas would be appreciated. Please comment or work with this idea in any way you like.

Haha, that's alright man. I'm just going to throw a bunch of designs out there and see if anyone likes them, if not, oh well. It won't bother me any. Right now im coming up with a couple designs for the ExoMagic logo which people will hopefully like. I ran them by Segachtek, and he thought they'd be pretty cool.

Here are a couple designs I was toying with at like 1am this morning. Segachtek helped me a little bit on it. It could be used on a back of any card, or I know the Exo Magic community wants to start selling products and I don't think we have a logo yet, so this idea or design would be a pretty cool logo. On the banner of both designs it says ''MAGIC FOR THE MASSES''. Anyone is free to manipulate this design into anything they would like.

To be honest, the back is the most important bit. Get the back right and you've nailed the whole deck. Look at the backs of successful decks such as bikes, tally-hos and the like. They are the most inspirational bits. The rest just falls into place.

The KKK drawing???? Eh, well....It's not really my favorite of the bunch but eh, neither are the other two. Oh well, there will be more to come! If only i had like a photoshop or something like it, then i could edit my drawings lol, but oh well, it'll work for now. But ok, thanks for the comments though!
