Default ExoMagic card colour scheme

So, a final decision needs to be made on the colour scheme of the Exomagic cards. Vote on your favorite! If you think one is more practical than another, post why! If you have reasons why that shouldn't be the colour, post why! The colour scheme is a very important part of cards, so we want to make sure we do it right.

Note: These are back colours; what the stock of the cards will be painted, not the colour of the faces or anything. (Though the decision may affect the colour of the faces).

WHITE!

why?
because it's pretty hard to let your spectator SIGN black cards

furthermore there are SO many black decks..
they all look the same.. this HYPE really bores me...

i've written something about the card of my dreams in the main thread.. please have a look

i really like white + a little bit of ONE color...
white + blue or white plus green...

imagine a ghost deck with a little bit of fresh color in it...
that's what i want

Heh. Well. That poll certainly helped. I'm hearing Griffin's point though. It IS hard to see sharpie on black cards... I hadn't thought of this because I rarely have people actually sign cards, and I wouldn't want my tigers or vipers to be defaced, since I only have one of each of them.

but i think for many tricks it IS very important to let the spectator sign the card...
for example the ambitious card routine...

to get them personally involved

I'm going to play devil's advocate on this one. What if you used a silver sharpie : D!

White is deffinitely the most practical, it looks natural, there's no secretive thing about them. They dont have gray-ish edges, so they can be used for deck color changes.

Plus they dont even have to be inspected, they look white and natural, and thats my reasoning. We dont need another crappy deck that looks photoshopped.

I like the black backs. But I just voted and it looks like the white are beating the blacks and the others. Come on and vote people. Vote for Black! hint hint.

I know we're not voting on the backs, were voting on the color schemeds, what I meant was that they should be white all around the decks, except for the design. Because otherwise they look too different. They also have grayish edges and that would look weird.

Also, a deck with a face that has a different color than the back not only would totally reveal a reversed card, and such, but it wouldnt work all together. I have an imitation of the blue ice deck, (what a blue ice deck was before it was a blue ice deck, you get them at Target or Walmart or whatever)

And frankly, they suck, double lifts are easily detectable, its impossible to do doubles...they just suck. The face is a dark blue, the backs are a lighter blue, and white.

I don't agree with the argument that the cards need to be signed. Exo-Cards are just like Tally-Vipers, Bike-Ghosts or Bike-Tigers. They are not usual and they are rare. And signing a card makes it useless for many tricks and doesn't look good in flourishes.
For signing-tricks, buy normal bikes or tallys, who cares. But these cards are, as I have to tell each time, here to show the spectator who we are and that our cards are something special. Or would you like to ruin a good looking card by letting it signed? They will be at least 5$ the deck I suppose. These are not regular cards you can get in each Walmart (or online-shop for those who don't live in the USA).
So, please guys, think about it. Maybe you are doing a mistake by voting for white.

Thats not why I voted for white. I can see you're arguement, i'm not supporting for the signing factor. I wouldnt get these signed anyway unless I have an old deck, and I purchase a new one that I could use for extras.

But you already saw my thing. But another thing that we should not do with these is flash the website URL, and say "I got these from Exomagic.com!!!"

That would put attention to our site...which is bad...if ur not a magician

Im voting for vintage. Its unusual and looks awesome. I argue against voting black..... Everyone in the magic community has seen black cards to death. Go grey or vintage.
