I know there is a thread elsewhere on this effect but I am not interested in revealing it but I would like to discuss it.

I just ordered one after considerable research. The effect is quite amazing as is the technique.

On a thread in the Magic Cafe, the creator, Leonardo Milanesi, has made some interesting posts. He even suggested replacing the AA battery (1.5 volt) with a 3 volt battery. He told how to do this without modifying the unit. He also said this would increase its performance.

One concern that keeps popping up is the noise level. Has anyone encountered a problem with the noise? Would increasing the voltage also increase the noise level?

Has anyone out there used this in the 'real' world as opposed to just messing around with it?

Mine arrived today. I hope to be about to use it in my show for Monday night.

I need to work up a routine for it now.

I'm happy to say that noise is not an issue at all.

Is it worth the money? I cannot say at this time. I'll have to see the real world reactions to it and see if it is something I'll use a lot. I'm going to try and find some bigger bolts to use to make it a little more visual.

After I have played around with it a few days I should be able to answer questions about it.
